One thing that’s stuck with Kayeton for the longest is he was never fond of children. A majority were loud and obnoxious, with far too much energy that he only wished to have a times. But he vaguely - ever so vaguely - occasionally seeing this girl in the Mafia.
It was no matter of his now, though, what she was doing or who she belonged with. So he took some leisurely steps over to her and offered a smile. Still, he had a job to do so it wouldn’t hurt him to see why she was around a flower shop. He crouched down a little, just so it would be easier to gain some form of eye contact and neither would have to strain their necks.
“Servus, can I help you, young lady? Are you looking for something specific?”
◣ ✿ ◥ If nothing else, Kyouka had a good memory for faces and information; she memorised them with ease, and the skill came in handy on many occasions. She registered this man as familiar. Though they’d never quite interacted before, she definitely saw him before–where? It took a moment to remember him being somehow associated with the mafia (whether an actual member or otherwise, she’d never needed to know).
That association was enough to cause a step back as he moved closer. One hand hovered near where her blade was hidden, but he didn’t appear threatening so she did no more than that. “I’m fine. I was just looking, sir.”
