◣ ✿ ◥ An odd response to the situation (at least, it seemed odd to her), but she didn’t have time to protest before his arms wrapped around her. So did he mean to forgive her? Or was he not upset with her to begin with? Kyouka had approached him with the intention to apologise for their argument the other day, but she hardly managed to get a word in before he spoke up instead. He could probably tell why she came up to him and decided that hugging was a more appropriate means of fixing the situation.

Then again, if she gained any information, it was that he hated talking about deeper emotional stuff, so the hug was likely just a way to avoid another discussion of the sort. She hesitated a second before lifting her arms to return the gesture.
