He was in intense work mode, slaving away on the report that needs to be done in a few minutes—per according to his schedule for the day. When files were set, ever so stealthy, on his desk, he failed to notice the young girl ( only because he’s running on a right schedule here ).

He could feel her eyes being bored into him with every second, but it doesn’t impede him from his end goal: finishing the report in the next 2 minutes.

AND— Done.

「 I’m sorry about that. Thank you….. Is there something you want? 」

◣ ✿ ◥ There were two ways of going about her mission. The first was to directly fish for compliments–the childish and immature route. Of course, the entire goal could be called childish and immature, but she decided to ignore that small fact. The second was to tease the praise out of him–the subtle route. Of course, Kunikida was too dense for subtly, and she didn’t favour it anyway.

So she settled on a direct approach. “Have I been doing a good job?” she asked. It seemed natural for a relatively new employee to be concerned for how they fit in, and the opinion of a founding member could surely ease any doubts.

She also just wanted Kunikida to say nice things to her.
